i have a level 19-swashbuckler and must say that it´s the most potent character in BG2 i ever started a game with.
advantages:-thieving abilities
-better combat abilities than other thieves
-chaotic good...RULEZ!!!
-doesn´t even need many HP´s
-equipped with boots of speed, a swashbuckler is most effective (hit, run, hide)
disadvantages:-no backstab(snif)
-no heavy armor
-if only i didn´t like jaheira that much, my party would be much more effective, but she´s a damn hard chick, isn´t she???
