Go all the way to the right (east) of the map (gauths beholders) after you have been into the 'nipple' room upon coming out the unseen eye will be waiting. I think that the rod self connects and you have to use it (quick item slot) on the unseen eye. I could tell you more but that's all you NEED to know. - Curdis.
