"If you find a job doing something you love, you'll never work another day in your life."

I'm ducking out now so I won't be able to reply for a while, but are you in a specialised area, such as sport, features or world news, or is it generalised?

With writing/proofreading do you edit other journos or do you write articles yourself - or both?

My ex-wife works for Pacific, so I got a window into the world of the print media. Even got paid a couple of times for writing a few columns myself. I'd imagine a newspaper to be different world though.
