I think many of us have come to the conclusion that the game designers didn't anticipate just how many young women and ladies would truly be interested in this game. Male players have 3 options for romance, Aerie, Jaheira, and the evil Viconia.
Unfortunately our female players have only the whimpering, annoying Anomen as a choice for romance.
I don't know what alignment you enjoy playing, but the guys are covered here as well since Aerie is lawful good, Jaheira is one of the nuetrals, and Vic is evil. So you can at least have a romance regardless of what alignment you play.
Anomen is lawful good, at least at the beginning, so if your character is evil, the sparks you see, will not likely be the kind that encourage intimacy. Now I have heard that if Anomen fails his quest his alignment will drop to one of the nuetrals, I believe it was, which would allow more tolerance in the alignment category for relations.
