I downloaded the Beta patch just the other night as well and things seem ok. Memnoch, Im not sure who it was on the BGdungeon who posted that but if he or anyone is having some of those problems perhaps the Thaco rules fix available for download in the editors section of the ironworks can fix it up until the full patch arrives. No probs myself.
