I remember the first time through (as a good party, and I was a fighter), I hated Anomen so much that I killed him. The next time I was an evil mage, and I simply didn't have any use for him. This time, I am playing a more-or-less neutral (with evil tendencies) party with my druid that I played all the way through BG1 and TOSC with. There aren't a lot of neutral or evil characters to choose from, and from my experience with the evil party, I realized that Vicky was "the weakest link" (although I did enjoy the romance). I chose to include Anomen (along with Korgan, Jaheira, Edwin, and Jan), and he is working out great. I also noticed that he is less irritating than he used to be. I think they added to and changed some of the character dialogues in TOB and/or the latest patch (or maybe I'm just less sensitive).
It was pretty funny...I had a 15 rep before his test, but I made a point of killing a townsperson to lower it to 9 before we went in (Korgan and Edwin were bitching anyway). I liked his reaction when he failed.
Question...He wanted to go in and kick their asses, but I talked him down. Would he have gotten himself killed?
