the way I do it:
cast haste and any other good defensive spells like recitation and chant etc etc on your two best fighters, move into the room with the rest of your party in the hall, goto to the statue nearest the golem furthest from the door, you should get the Frostreaver axe +3 (hopefully you can use this against the golems) the two golems nearest u should then atack so move one fighter to engage each and then they should be easy enough although expect to take quite a bit of damage. move you two fighters back to the hall and cure them fully, cast haste on them again move back into the golem room and go for the middle statue then the other two golems should go for you, one of these two is a clay golem so makesure you have someone useing the flail of ages (or any magical blunt weapon) even if neither of your fighters are proficient in it you can still use it and it will be more effective than you +4000 Katana. when you have beaten these two golems leave the room cast healing spells again etc etc. Move back into the room with your mage and make sure you have shadow door memorised, move to the final statue and take the Elven Court Bow from it, then the two remaining golems, one clay one Iron!!! will atack, imedietly cast shadow door and they will lose you and just walk out of the room and identify all you nice new wmagical items. (don't try takeing the iron golem on unless you have already crafted the flail of ages and have a hard!!!! fighter who is at least!!!! speacialised with it, haste him improve his armour class as much as possible and then you should be able to kill the be iron but muncher....don't expect to do it on you first atempt though)
