I sympathize with your plight. People are so fond of saying that you have to talk to Firekrag in the Copper Coronet, it is intriguing that they usually fail to mention that his name isn't Firekrag in the Copper Coronet. Firekrag is that Lord whatever his name was, who stands in the middle near the bar, offering you a job if you want it, everytime you walk in.
