1st and foremost WELCOME TO IRONWORKS!!

To defeat TorGal (easily)- make a character invisible. Go into the room (only with the invisible character) to initiate the dialogue, then only TorGal will attack, and u can lead him back to ur party.

And Nalia Wont hide in Shadows because shes too low a level- her HIS ability is too low, and theres nothing u can do to fix it since she duelled to Mage.
