Correct, except you don't get the CON bonus. As a figher level 10, you get 9 + 3 hp. Level 11 you get 9 + 6. etc. You no longer get the benefits of Constitution. Different classes continue to get additional rolls, look at the back of your manual. This isn't 100% according to AD&D rules though - A monk should get a die roll all the way to lvl 17 (grand master of flowers), but he follows the cleric path here. There is also a typo in the book - clerics don't get a d10, they get a d8.

You can save yourself a lot of pain by sliding the difficulty bar one to the left so you get max hps per level and you won't need to do system shock roles to see if you can be raised. The monsters are just as tough, and I can't stop myself from reloading until I get the max hps, so save yourself a lot of trouble. Also, when u meet NPCs, they have the max HPs, instead of being so weak they die in one shot.
