I'm not sure you need to uninstall. I have had 2 game ending crashes in the year I have been playing but I never had to uninstall I just started a new game.

If you want you can download madgods editor from wolfie's site I think or just google mad gods editor and you will get a link. It is easy to use once you play around with.
