Yeah - I'm agreeing with what I'm reading. I don't understand why "training" is even desireable. I haven't done any (that I know of!) and, even so, my party rarely encouters a group that it cannot defeat. Stark contrast between the current situation (Lvls-18-22) and the beginning (Lvl 4-6). Had I been "training" to further increase the "power" of my characters, I'd be swatting at flies!!
In fact, I generally travel with 2 NPCs - just to moderate the rate at which I am gaining levels.
From what I read on these boards - I had thought I was in a minority, as many seem hell-bent on garnering all the XP they can possibly acquire.
