I love milipedes. By the time i'm facing them, i usually have enough AC and Missile Shield to use them for Reflextion and magic practise.
What i dislike most are Sprites--any kind, at any level. They're just annoying with their spells and resistances, and it takes two rounds just to approach them if you get caught in the open.
