I´ve encountered a problem and maybe someone can offer help.
After passing through the sea caverns (that loc with nessie, you know) and entering Bayjin i suddenly noticed, that all of my chars had been massively degraded.
The overall ac decreased by about 6 pts, to-hit decreased from i.e. +4/+2 to -2/-7 (Lord) .. this affected the whole party and first looked like "Hex".
But, i cant remember either being hexed or sme kind like that and the display didnt show ANY negative effect.
What did happen ? I did rest a couple of times, but nothing helped. My chars are really gimped now and had probs beating (HITTING !!) some lvl 4 - crabs, and they´re lvl 14....
i reloaded an older sg, near nessie. their stats already did decrease at this early point, but not as low as they became later at Bayjin (i.e. Lord to-hit at this time +2/-1.
Is it a bug ? a feature ?? I dont hope so... manual didnt actually help.
As said, looks like "Hex", but there is no symbol saying my chars are...
