The two RPCs don't leave when you get the pass.
Go to Mt.Gigas top with them. There are two rocket launchers. Go to the one for the savant ship, and click with the tracking device onto something that looks like a button. Boom.
After you destroyed the ship, go back to yamir, and the RPCs will leave.
It sounds like you are looking for the rocket launcher at ascension peak, not at Mt.Gigas top?
