Regarding her usefulness as npc. Im not going to deny she has some good points, but I think she is highly overrated. Viconia is far better than her (Jaheira choice of weapons is ludicrous) in almost every aspect. Spellcasting, combat, etc.

Erm, in my game, she says something about flaying you alive...But I definitely agree. I know I love Vickey, but from a powergaming point of view, the fact that Jah can't wield the Flail of Ages should rule her out of any newbie's party. Even anomen (pause for retching) is better from that angle.
