Ok, thanks. I'll just keep frequenting those stores until I have enough Light Crossbows. Yeah, I know about the Stamina drain, in my previous (Normal, completed) game my Ranger had a Tripleshot. Of course, the Ranger was doing missile criticals, so Tripleshot = more shots = more chances of critical hits worked for him but my current characters might find the bows you mentioned more useful. I'll just have to find them first.
EDIT: Oh, btw, the stamina drain is a non-issue. My two bishops are responsible for keeping the the party (especially the Bard & the Gadgeteer) in good stamina (with Stamina and Rest All spells), and they are their doing their job excellently.
Speaking of interesting items, my faerie ninja just got the item I created him for. I have mixed feelings about it (spoiler)....

At first, I was impressed by the damage potential and the extra effects. However, it seems that (on Expert at least) the "100% poison" ability is an exaggeration. No, I'm not talking about the undead and such, but perfectly ordinary opponents (like brigands, rapax etc.). They only seem to get poisoned 1/3 of time when the ninja hits or so. And then, the thing is cursed, meaning that my ninja cannot easily switch to a missile weapon when not in melee range.
Methinks I liked the *Light* *Sword* (previous game, again) better. It performed excellently against any creature (also the undead) and magnificiently against the Dark Savant's androids.
