. If I put stuff on the floor, will it disappear after a certain amount of time? I'm getting annoyed by all the crap I have that I don't want to lug about but I might need later. Now I only have one portal, so I'm keeping it at the T'rang teleporter. I can't recall any chests handy to that so I'm hoping putting stuff on the floor will be okay?

Also on an unrelated note, I've encountered about 3 groups of mares now, two groups of dire mares and one of dread mares. I don't recall this happening at all in my last game, but in all three encounters at least 3/4 of the mares have retreated and I've only ended up killed 1 or 2 of them (out of 6 or 7) because the others have bolted. Is that normal? The first time we ran into them I panicked because they at level 16 or so would have creamed us at level 13 or so, but most of them fled the scene.
