[Ziggurat]

I sometimes get something similar. The characters talk but no sound during battle, and no messages about stats going up but they do. After the saved battle, I reload the game from scratch. The voices come back and I get the messages. May be a mem problem. I have 800 Mhz, 256 MB, but it still happens if I play for a long time. And when I check maps, etc., that eats up mem. this is just a guess as to why.
