sorry, wildrose, but there's only two places to get musket balls: kunar and burz (remember that guy in the monastary?? yeah, him!)
of course, repeated camping can yield results. if you arent playing ironman, you can also save after you've camped 3 times, but before you actually talk to the vendor, since his stock isnt actually generated until you talk to him. if he doesnt have items to your liking (eg enough musket balls) then go back to your last save and try again. this minimises the number of camps you have to do (i figure, if i'm willing to camp a thousand times to get ammo, what's the difference, but i'm sure others would see this as an exploit. your call.)
on the other hand, i personally found the modern weapons in the game to be underpowered. the best bows (and crossbows) with the best ammo (mystic or lightning) are more consistent and deliver better results. imo. [img]smile.gif[/img]
