Very likely! Lets say your character was a Psionic for the first 3 levels before changing to a Bishop. Now at Character Level 10, the character has only 7 levels in either a Wizardry or Divinity profession, but needs 8 before being able to learn the spell. There's your answer.

Use the Wiz8SpellAbility spreadsheet (signature below), enter in your character's stats, then go to the [Availability] sheet, and look for the "Remove Curse" spell, it will tell you what is still needed.
