my usual strategy with the rescue scenario is to get them killed in the first fight. seriously. we will sit back and wait for them to die before doing anything.
two reasons: first, i can stop stressing about keeping them alive. i was finding that we lost fights trying to save them rather than trying to win. second, we dont have to share the xp with those losers.
and the best part: once they're dead, yamir will resurrect them for you when you get back to umpani HQ! so it doesnt even cost you a single powder.
