Bozo of bone: I am running wizardry 8 on a 2.4 ghz amd athlon with only 256 ram and it runs fine. You might experience a bit of lagging in certain parts of the game due to only having 128 ram but other than that it should run ok.

Dalamar: I would definitely recommend getting wizardry 8 it's an awsome game. My favorite RPG to date. It has loads of potential for replayability. You can run so many different types of parties and parties based on themes etc. Everytime I replay I find items or side quests that I have missed with previous parties. The ability to build your party members which ever way appeals to you is one of my favorite parts of the game. At level ups, the player is the one whom must choose what stat attributes and skills to raise, so you can do experimenting to see what effects your choices make on your party members.

I don't want to say too much and spoil any surprises for you, if you have more specific questions about the game and gameplay post again and many of us will be more than happy to answer your questions.
