Please note that the beginning chapters take place on Guardia, and what happens at the end. Guardia is the planet you are on in Crusaders of the Dark Savant, or known as Wizardry7. If you are confused in anyway, please PM me and I'll explain it to you better. Now then, the story.

The Path to the Cosmic Circle
Prologue:
I am the Cosmic Lord Zaxmar. I have given the people of Dominus this holy work, so that they may learn the path of the holy. This is a story of how any person with a certain goal can achieve beyond their goal, and aspire to great things. I learned much about how to make the world a better place. I have spent countless hours in the empty void of space. I have seen comrades take on ferocious beasts while his friends were in grave peril.
But it is not just a story about fame, fortune and glory. It’s not about warriors and wizards honing their skills to the best. It is also about a dark herald, the dreaded Dark Savant who would bring all worlds to chaos. It is he who challenged the first Cosmic Lords, he whose name would follow a shudder. The Dark Savant was ruthless in his goal to rule the worlds in Chaos. There were others who would fight against, very few, but with their aid they changed history forever.
These others were me and my fellow companions, lone wanderers striving to make a difference, and most notable, two great factions of extreme power; the militant Umpani, and the cunning T’rang. Both despised each other, and had it not been up to two people, the war between both of them would have never ceased. There were also the highly intelligent Mook, whose knowledge would aid in saving the universe. Other races played a significant role in the end, such as the highly devout and technological Higardi, cousins of the mysterious Helazoid. The tough, mean, and deadly Rapax, who would never stop to conquer the planet Dominus and who hated the Trynnie, small furry creatures that lived in giant tree city called Trynton. They were also known to steal anything that appealed to their liking, but they were extremely skilled in the arts of magic, specifically Alchemy.
There were others who helped, but they helped on planet Guardia, which is another story for another time. But Guardia had a big role for me and my comrades, it is where our journey began; the hunt for the Astral Dominae. Such people of importance were King Ulgar of the Gorn, Don Barlone who was a Rattkin and head of the Razuka (an organized crime syndicate), Xen Xheng of the Munk, the mystical Dane, and so on. It was on Guardia, where I first met the adventurous girl Vitalia (Vi for short) Domina, and the Dark Savant.
Guardia was nothing more than a long race to find the Astral Dominae. And our party did find it. But when we found the globe that contains the power of life and a map to a star system, we also met the Dark Savant. In a bloody and epic battle, we defeated him, or so we thought. Before we could runaway with the Dominae and Vi, the Dark Savant grabbed Vi, and made an offer. “THIS FRAIL GIRL NEED NOT DIE... HER WOUNDS WILL HEAL AND YOU MAY DEPART... BUT I SHALL HAVE THE ASTRAL DOMINAE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! THE GLOBE FOR THE GIRL!” he said. To go so far and lose the globe was not an option, but to lose Vi was also not an option. So we made the trade, and realized that a day of reckoning will come.
We brought Vi out of the tomb of the Astral Dominae, brought her to New City, and healed her up and left her in a room in the local Inn run by a Munk ( I have long forgotten the name). When we had prepared to leave Guardia, we had gotten word that the T’rang and the Umpani had a big showdown at the tomb, with some survivors on each side. We had missed both factions by about five minutes. And so we were prepared to leave Guardia and head to the star system that the Astral Dominae showed. But before we could leave, we met a wandering Umpani named Roderick, and we eagerly joined him. He said he was heading to Upkyr, the base of the Umpani that had been destroyed, because a Mook was hiring people for protection. That man was Grimpak, and this is where the story begins.
