This may be known already, but I can still play the game after I killed the Dark Savant. How you say?
The answer is simple, as soon as you kill him (I also killed Bela), I just run to the exit of the Cosmic Circle while everyone is saying there things (congratulations and stuff). When I'm outside in Acension peak, just run into a fight, beat it, and then you can finally rest and continue on.
