I was performing an inspection of a gold mine today (my first time in a mine 6000 feet down)....and as I was walking around, what struck me was how similar Mt. Gigas was to the real thing.

Cetainly there were things that don't come across on the PC...i.e. the splash of the water as you walk through the puddles. How hot it is that far down in the ground and most of all, the pockets of anomia that sometimes are so strong that my eyes watered and I almost had to double-over or fall to my knees from the nausea.

But I'll say, the darkness, the wandering around tunnels and getting lost real easy, there were times when I actually thought I was in the game.

Today gave me new appreciation of how well that part of the game was done.
