The Drow? pah. pansies the lot of them. just make sure that you have sufficient magic resistance and have yout spellslingers pelt them with bullets instead, since they have alot of resistance as well.

Dont worry about equipment though, the first time you kill a bunch of Drow youll find _awesome_ Drow Armour, best in the game, decays when you leave the underdark thouhg. also they have excellent swords and other weapons.

to level faster - do more quets, have fewer in you rparty (since XP is divided), kill things.

Stats for a ranger - go for str, con and dex. cha can be useful, but you cna get a ring of human influence which makes it redundant. wis and int are useless for this class.
