One reason not have a fairy as a bishop are some great items faeries can't equip..
Faeries
cannot wear
Thieves buckler +10 spd
Snakeskin Boots +10 spd
Cloak of Perception +20 Senses
Robes of regeneration
Those are nice things and unfortunately have restricted Faeries to monks and ninjas for me.
