would only add: Save before you try: you want to be able to start combat and run far enough down the passage past them that combat ends automatically wihtout anyone exchanging blows. Be sure to grab the 'crush' spell book in the corner, and explore the area beyond throughly-- you can find routes to the outdoors and the rest of LMB so you only need to do the run past thing once...
