Best to depart that ghostie part of MB is via the other spiral stairs, that are all the way through there, they lead to the Teleporter and the trapdoor around the back of the outdoor part, you can go to the catapult from the trapdoor (not the hole in the floor where the sword is, if you go that way you can't get directly back to the Teleporter from outside)
