Alenkii, the Cane of Corpus is in this game as well, for a Faerie Ninja, but you come by that when you're around level 10-12, and it takes quite awhile to get up to 15... also, a bard who stops at level 15 cannot use all of the instruments in the game.
Also, class changing in this Wizardry is VERY different from previous Wiz games. Before, you went back to level 1 and you leveled back up quickly. In this game, you go to level 1 on your new class, but you're still the old level in your old class, so if you change after 10 levels, you're STILL a level 11 character, so you won't get to level 2 in your new class until you get enough experience to get to Level 12... My suggestion, NEVER multi-class... at least not until you've played the game through a few times.
My most successful (read easiest to kill everything) was (in this order), Faerie Ninja, Hobbit Samurai, Mook Ranger, Felpurr Gadgeteer, Dracon Bard, Elf Bishop.
You want your ninja first because if you decide to attack after moving, you go in order from 1-6. You could even put your bishop first and it doesn't matter since you determine your party's formation at any time.
