Great game! I rarely finish a game. So this game deserves a lot of credit for keeping my interest all the way through.

What makes it a such a good game? Graphics are dated, but textures, models, and spell effects are all excellent. Character development is great. The voices in the game are really well done and though the character quips get repetitious it never really bothered me because every once in a while they would say something I'd never heard before and have me laughing.

Maybe I developed him wrong but I was totally unimpressed with the Lord class. My Rogue in the back row got more kills. The Priest had few kills compared to everyone else but I attribute that to her being busy healing and clearing conditions off people all the time. She could deal out the damage whenever she had the chance to fight.

I've played a little Morrowind, I know they are different types of games but here are things that I will miss from Wizardry 8:

voice acting, you hear the same boring voices over and over again in Morrowind

being able to view hit point status of opponents, Wiz 8 even changes the creature textures as they take damage, Morrowind does neither

some potions can be used like grenades in Wiz 8, in Morrowind I can make a paralyze potion but can't target a creature with it

Wiz 8 you get rewarded generously with xp for defeating tough enemies, Morrowind you wouldn't get much more reward for fighting a cow that has a lot of hit points than you would a tough creature with magic using capabilities and immunities.
