The fight with Sarevok is the last thing on the agenda, even on the expansion pack.
Baulders Gate two picks up after the fight with Sarevok.
The intention of the expansion pack is not to have an adventure after the final battle, but to have more to do in the game, before the end (killing Sarevok).
Although most people have beaten the game before even applying the expansion, the best thing to do is buy the expansion with the regular game, and play it all the way through. I hope I am not just rambling on....does that sound about right?
