Silly misinterpretation. At higher levels you don't get any more experience for any single given mosnter, but you do run into higher level monsters that are worth more experience so you will get more experience on average throughout your game.

Not that this is the reason to play at higher levels anyway. You play at higher levels for the challenge, since the game would be kninda easy at normal settings.
