I may have misunderstood.. I'm extremely tired, and I don't have the energy to read through the entire thread, but it seems you don't know where you got your DS ball?..
It's in the large structure next to the mook ship.. You take the elevator up, and on the right hand side, the ball will be sticking out of a machine.. you take it out, get Vi and Myles, and you have a game of fottie out in the arnika-trynton road.. Beware of savant's henchman, they have a tendency to pick up the ball and run away with it, rendering you (foot)ball-less, and with nothing to do.
