Please note that there are two types of vampire bats, one is level 10 (vampire bat) and the other is level 14 (bat vampire). There is a huge difference between the two if you happen to be in that range of levels. The bat vampire is much more likely to put you in the "drained hitpoints" category. I only have one Renewal potion. So I have to reload when I get drained...Be warned!
