In other words, you have to give him all the best items in the game and babysit him, spell by spell, in order to make him as good as Keldorn with a +1 sword and his basic AI. Right?
Not that I'm saying your strategy is bad, I just don't like Bards, and NPC Bards in particular. Why have a Bard when you could be using a warrior-type? Sure, a Bard's a good secondary Mage, but that's what Jan is for.
What the hell IS a "Tiefling," anyway? Another type of Elf, like Avariel?
