Try going back to the Umpani, turn Kunar in (well, if you can't pickpocket him, then I guess that's it... maybe you can recruit Myles, well, maybe you have the latest patch, then you're also in trouble...) and try meeting Z'Ant again. Should work... Do you have something to give to Z'Ant? Then give it to him directly by picking it up with the cursor and clicking at him, I read that makes him forget about your little double life...
