Hey - yeah it is a tough fight, I had my gadg keep using duct tape and you can paralyze a breeder eventually that way, was doing sleeps/insanity spells on the archers and focusing damage on the breeders; was not easy but I took them.

I would then close the door to their room and rest in there because when you come out you'll be attacked by the rattkin, they turn hostile after you finish off the breeders.
