Well, I THINK that he gives you one quest after another, so if you didn't finish the bank quest (but it sounded as you did, ask him for "job") I think you won't get the diamond quest from him. But you'll find the diamond anyway and can give it to Lorrac for exp/sell it, you just don't know that it was stolen (actually, your chars don't
