Hey - well if you use just one sword though, then you'd also slow down your development of the dual skill as it would only go up via level-up points and not via practice in combat, and you'd get some points in shield that you wouldn't really need later on. I am really thinking of going with a dagger in the off hand to keep the dual skill improving and letting dagger rise just with practice until sword maxes, then put level up points into dagger. The poison dagger is alot better than the wakizashi, even if it hits alot less often, so I may just take that. If he misses with the dagger alot at first so be it, the small amount of damage he's doing now with the wakizashi won't be missed too much.
Anyone know if there are other good daggers later in the game that a samurai can use? Will it be a good long term choice?
