Gothmog - I found it much easier to gain levels and experience in Wiz 8 than in the BG series (something I liked about Wiz 8). In BG I would fight many battles and not gain even one measley level. Also are you saying you never had to reload once when you fought Irenicus, Melissan, other dragons etc? They were very tough battles. If you fight the Dark Savant you will laugh. With the Juggernauts simply run away, level a bit and then take them on, should be no sweat.
Silverthornne - I agree with you about BG, you couldn't ever just walk into one of those big battles and expect to win first go. You always had to reload, find out what you're up against and cast a mammoth worth of preparatory spells and try again. It kind of got tedious and boring and the battles weren't as fun as Wiz 8.
I would say though that Irenicus is my faveourite bad guy of all time.
