Silverthorne, I did not get the CoC off the Don when I killed him, so I wouldn't count on it being a sure bet the next time you play. I have read somewhere though that it's fairly easy to retry: just reload and rest/camp until it finally shows up with the Don. The Muramasa is the hardest to get, as it is set when you first enter the Rapax Castle, and it would be a real pain to have to go through the Rapax hordes again and again.
