This is a public service announcement.

Stats (Str, Dex, ...) and Resistances can roll over reverting to very low numbers. This generally occurs because you have items equipped that are adding significant amounts to one resistance or stat. If this happens swap out the offending item.

Example 1
I was figthing in the away camp and casted my usual Soul Shield spell. Up to this point most of my characters would either take no damage or single digit damage from Magic Missile. In this battle my Psionic was getting blasted for 20 plus points of damage a shot. During battle I looked at my resistances and noticed my Psionic had a 3 resistance. After battle I checked my resitance and it was over 100. Some careful rearranging of items adding to Divine resistance solved the problem.

Example 2
Wandering around Ascension Peak I got into a battle that I felt required a Haste spell. Suddenly my Samurai is now going last in the init order and the number of attacks/swings has dropped dramatically. I check out the stat screen and find my speed is now 1. Before the battle is was about 120 or so. After battle I remove the Ankh of Speed and no more problems with the Samurai.
