If Rogues have Backstab and high DEX (reflexion) does this mean Rogues are better compared to a specialist Fighter?

Right now, I am giving the weapons to the characters with the highest proficiency just to make sure they are SUPPOSED to be more effective with it. But is it? One of you mentioned giving Bloodlust to Myles; would he be that effective with it?

How effective IS putting an skill point into Dagger Skill compared to none. What is 100 Dagger Skill in terms of Damage, To Hit etc compared to having zero?
