RFS-81 has no magic.. sorry
Monks have a very limited armour. but robes are better then nothing.
You could train him with weapons, I never keep him in my party long. I found his pretty good unarmed, getting 2-4 attacks around normaly and doing around 10-15 damage per attack.
If you are going to keep RFS-81 in your party ive heard he will go almost anywhere unlike other PC's, that leave when they don't like a map area.
