That's interesting... The manual never comes out and says you'll get more spells with higher Wizardry skill, but it strongly implies that such is the case:

Mastery Skills: The four magical mastery skills - Wizardry, Alchemy, Psionics, and Divinity - primarily determine the caster's ability to learn spells from his or her spellbook. A mage with a high Wizardry skill, for instance, would be able to learn spells much more quickly than a mage who decided to put his skill points into pole & staff instead. (emphasis added)
Anyone out there getting more than one spell per level up? The fact that the spellbook screen has a counter on it implies that you can get more than one - can anyone confirm?
