I just fought them last night. It was an epic battle to say the least. I also really stocked on and Eye for an Eye potions wherever I could get them. And I also had my party use one of those since I don't have a psonic in my party. Also, my sanity ring came in handy.
If you have a bard in your party you can use the instrument "chaos drone" it does either insanity or fear to them - I have admit watching them fight eachother is quite funny.
