i used to be a strict grammarian, and would almost take offense if someone didn't proofread their msg or even attempt to use a spellchecker.

but, it didn't take me long to realize that a lot of people i was exchanging ideas with didn't have english as their first language. i found that very brave. i don't know if i could do it. and then, of course, there were a lot of kids who just didn't know yet and on top of that were the others... who abbreviated due to time constraints, or just were too unconcerned to correct their form, because the substance was more important to them.

but i was shocked at how many places i found people who could care less how they presented themselves to others and revelled in radiating that lowest common denominator feeling.... and that's who/what i think Gilrad means.

it's just a wonderful feeling when you find a place where everyone respects each other and enjoys all the differences and where you know that you can talk about most anything and not have someone ridicule you or your ideas.

and knip, you don't have to tell me that it bugged you to hear it. LOL. i can tell, but it's okay. you just feel very strongly about it, nothing to be ashamed of. but anyway, here's a tissue for whatever it was that went up your nose.
