Those ruins have to be touched in a specific order... I have no idea which order it is. *grin* I always just run in a circle touching every ruin until one of them makes a sound, then I circle again touching them all until another one makes a sound. Lather, rinse, repeat. Eventually you'll hear six sounds, and another sound that is quite different. Use your longsword appropriately, and voila! Prepare for one heck of a challenge.
